Researcher of Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, director of the State Key Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry, won the support of the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, chief scientist of key, major and key research and development projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, special government allowance of the State Council, outstanding talents of Guangdong Special Support Program ("Guangdong Top 100"), and "Ding Ying Science and Technology Award" of Guangdong Province. The scientific research achievements have won the second prize of National Natural Science Award (2006) and the first prize of Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Award (2004, 2013). Appointed as a member of the Guangdong Provincial Political Consultative Conference and a standing committee member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Democratic League.
